300 students from EPAL Kalamarias will contribute to BigO project

students EPAL school follow lectures on Obesity and the BigO project

October 24th was World Anti-Obesity Day. To mark that day, teachers of 1st EPAL Kalamarias (Department of Agriculture, Food & Environment) lectured about obesity.

They presented facts about obesity, for example, that it is related to several mental and physical health conditions.

In addition, students were informed about the BigO project. Teachers instructed the students on the use of the platform. Students also learned about the advantages and disadvantages of the use of new technologies.

In total 300 students aged 17 will contribute to the BigO dataset. This project is linked to the Erasmus+ EU project “Pro-healthy lifestyle with your mobile phone”.
