BigO presented at the Congress on Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Diagnosis and Therapy
Professor Evangelia Charmandari of the Biomedical Research Foundation, Academy of Athens was an invited speaker at the 3rd International Congress on Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Diagnosis and Therapy on the 10th of January. The conference was organized by the Hellenic Society of Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Diagnosis and Therapy (EEPHARM).
Prof. Evangelia Charmandari presented on ‘Novel e-health applications for the management of cardiometabolic risk factors in children and adolescents’. During her presentation, she explained the concept of the BigO project. In addition, she discussed the results of the study carried out at the out-patient Clinic for Prevention and Management of Overweight and Obesity in Childhood and Adolescence, Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes, First Department of Pediatrics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School.
