Adele Tufford

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Human Nutrition & Health at Wageningen University, working in the domain of healthy and sustainable diets. I obtained my PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University, Canada, where I studied the development of the visual system. Seeking to move into human health, I then did post-graduate work in Global Health in Sri Lanka prior to my position at Wageningen.
With the BigO team, I am working on the analysis of data coming from the BigO system. We hope to understand whether certain aspects of childrens’ environments can influence their health. Away from work, I love to bike and grow food, and am an (amateur!) DJ.
