Desiree Lucassen is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University, the Netherlands. The focus of her research is on the development of innovative tools to accurately measure eating behaviours and other health related behaviours, for research purposes. She has a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a master's degree from Maastricht University on Health Education and Promotion. This is also in line with the view of BigO in which different (sensor) technologies are used to measure different health related behaviours of children and adolescents. Within BigO Desiree is involved in the dissemination of the project. In close collaboration with the other partners, she communicates the project progress and achievements to other audiences. Her main responsibilities lie in maintaining the BigO website and the social media channels.
