Dimitris Filos

Dimitris Filos is a PhD candidate in the lab of Medical Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His thesis is on the “Multilevel Modeling and Analysis of Bio signals in Atrial Fibrillation”. He received his undergraduate degree on electrical engineering and he has completed his post graduate studies on medical informatics at the same University. He has been involved in a series of EU and Greek funded projects. He has also collaborated with the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas, Institute of Applied Biosciences, in Thessaloniki. His main scientific areas include biomedical signal processing, physiological systems and behavioural modelling, machine learning as well as data analytics and decision making. He has authored or co-authored several papers published in international journals and in conference proceedings. He also serves as a reviewer in numerous scientific journals. In BigO he is leading the development of the Decision Support System.
