Vassilis Kilintzis

Dr Vassilis Kilintzis (Μ) is a post-doc researcher at the lab of Medical Informatics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Physics department in 2001 and completed his master and PhD in medical informatics in the medical school of AUTH in 2004 and 2012 respectively. He participated in several research EU projects as an IT expert in information system design and implementation, knowledge management and decision support system design. His current research interests involve knowledge management, semantic web and health information systems design. His programming expertise includes development of applications and services on several platforms (windows, web and android) using a variety of programming languages (java, PHP, JavaScript and also C++ and Delphi, Pascal and C# .net). He is member of the BigO consortium from the beginning of the project and is involved with the design and implementation of myBigO app features as well as supporting backend services of the app and the web portals.
